Help.....Illegal Operation using wp 7.1/windows 98 1

Everytime I double click on the icon for WordPerfect 7.1 I get the illegal operation error and usually have to reboot. Is there a fix for this or would you suggest another version to work better with win98. Would rather just fix..budget kinda tight

I have found a fix for this....change the location of the default documents folder, or by adding /x in the startup option. (note** if you use /x you will not be able to customize wordperfect.
