HELP!!! I have a simple SORTING Question in a report.

Hi all!

Ok, here goes. My question is regarding reports...I have a simple report with data from a query....The report has store name, address, city, state, and phone number. I have the query sorted by state then by telephone number. I also put this same filter/sort set up in the actual report in the report's data properties. The thing is that it is not 100% sorting them in ascending order by the telephone number. I don't know why...sorting should be so hard can you help?

Problems with a report, why post in the forms forum, when there's a perfectly good reports forum (forum703).

For this, though, forget about the query sort and the report sort/filter thingie, the only thing that counts with regards to report sorting, is when you use the sorting/grouping facilities within the report (it's a button on the toolbar, but can also be found in the view menu)
