We are a MFG plant...we want to disable the autoattendant from transferring to specific stations. Exaple bob's wife calls...gets auto attendant and enters 1111 the extension out on the production floor. currently it transferrs to that extension...we do not want that to happen.

Thanks!!!!!!

Well...

We would like to only eliminate the autoattendant from being able to transfer to these...

My other option...which I have had no luck...is to have the SMDR unit track these...it tracks the call comming in and then tranferred, but does not show where it was transferred....

The ideal is still to have the autoattendant not transfer to specific extensions...

Our main number goes directly to the autoattendant...therefore anyone who knows the extensions out on the production floor can tranfer directly out on the floor.

Change the DN of the station on the floor then only give the people that absolutely have to have it the number, they will still be able to dial out but then callers would not know what number to dial there directly.

Get the CallPilot 100 or 150 with 3.0 software and use the "Disable DN Dialing" in the CCR Tree. When they try to dial the extension, it plays the mailbox greeting. If their isn't a mailbox or its not initialized, it will play the AA greeting.
