Help !!! don understand the db2diag.log mesg

Can someone help me, I don know the meaning of the mesg below from db2diag.log. thx

The lock wait time value was exceeded, probably due to another "client" retaining an exclusive lock too long.

You also are not allowing the system to respond to the application with a SQLCODE (-911..-913.. been a while), so the client app. is getting forced.

I'll look up the parameters and settings for you as soon as I get home.

You can find out more about the function by looking at the 4th letter of the function name.
