HELLO..
I HAVE A PROBLEM,, WHEN I CALL To LINE 018000525555 And I PRESS 9 FOR DIGITAR The KEY, THIS DOES NOT RESPOND To ME, THAT I MUST DO.

THANKS.

That's possibly due to that the call doesn't
get b-answer. (if it's a toll free number it's often like this).
You will see if this is the issue , if the display
info in the DTS of the dialed number doesn't change when the call is answered.
In that case there is no fault in the MD.

GOOD,
BUT I IF I CAN MARK NUMBER 018000919200 And IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO MARK 9 FOR The EMITTER OF TONES, MY QUESTION IS And BECAUSE To the OTHER I NUMBER DOES NOT WORK To ME,,

As i said the equipment at the other end serving
the number 018000525555 may not send b-answer signal.
The MD then has the call still in calling phase
so you cant request the DTMF generator from the register.
Only thing you can do is complain to the owner of the
018000525555 number really.

If you call from a analog DTMF telephone set it
would work cause the tones are generated in the phone.
With DTS the 9 is used to fan connect a one/dtmf
generator from the TMU/TSU card (since the DTS dont have
a dtmf tone generator in the telephone, but use the tmu catd
in the switch for this).

The md can also be setup to not send b-answer
when a caller enters a GH or ACD group .False b-answer
not sendt when call is in que

To RJS..
What BC release are u using? In old releases you had to set a parnum value to automatically turning on the tone sender after a connection is established.
Could this be your case?ofcourse this could only be the case if you have problem with all numbers and not just 800 numbers.

Experience it, there is no substitute.

Hi,
Have your qeistion resolved? I think you should check ASPAP:pARNUM=56;
PARVAL can't be 15.
good luck and tell me the resolt!

If cause is that remote end does not send b-answer , just try setting (as a test) D18 in RODDI to 1.
This makes the MD110 generate b-answer.
Note : this is just a test and should not be considered a final solution as non toll free calls would expect b-answer from remote end.
Perhaps a rearrangement of the DESTs would be the solution.
