My system: (Main Office)
1 Main File Server (PDC, DHCP, Print, DNS and SQL plus Greatplains Dynamics plus Medical records dedicated software)
1 Citrix Metaframe Server
2 Email Servers
1 Web server
Main Office 50 Pcs 10 thin clients 10/100 netgear switches
5MB Fiber wan to branch offices.
Branch Office 1:
1 File Server (local profiles and Print)
30 PCs 15 Thin Clients
Branch Office 2:
1 File Server (Local Profiles and Print)
10 PCs 5 Thin Clients
------------------------------------------
What I want to be able to do is monitor all the servers and applications running across the wan links to be able to determine why my medical records application is slow across the whole system, My branch offices all connect through either a Full client ICA(Citrix) session to a published application or through a thin client to a full desktop.
I would also like to be able to do some reporting on what web sites users are viewing (acceptible Use Policy reporting)
I am not good at prefmon so I am looking for a good (less expensive) monitoring software that I can tell what is happening on the entire network.
Thanks
Greg
