I need help creating a rebus for a gift for a grandmother and her grandson, Henry.

These are some of the phrases I would like to turn into rebuses:
[ul]
[li] world's greatest grandma[/li]
[li] grandma is my buddy[/li]
[li] grandma is my (candy) dealer[/li]
[li] grandma will let me (gramma'l let me)[/li]
[li] grandma rocks[/li]
[li] Henry loves grandma[/li]
[li] What happens at grandma's stays at grandma's (probably too long)[/li]
[/ul]
Either "grandma" or "gramma" is OK.

But anything along those lines would be great.

Here are some of the pictures I have come up with. Some are a stretch.
[ul]
[li] gram: one of those little scale weights[/li]
[li] grand: a grand piano[/li]
[li] gramma'l (gramma will): gram + awl[/li]
[li] let: tennis net with ball touching it[/li]
[li] loves: heart[/li]
[li] hen: chicken[/li]
[/ul]
I would appreciate any help or pointers.

Some Quick research tells me you might be limiting yourself to much by being too literal.

Greatest for example could be a combination of a couple of pictures with some modifications

Picture1 = Olivia newton John and John Travolta from movie Grease
Picture2 = Test questions (all correct) score = A+

Combined by the following formula:

Picture1 - SE + Picture 2

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I should have said that the "pictures" are silhouettes, not actual pictures. So I can only use images that can be recognized by their outline. Sorry about that.

I don't have anything specific yet, but another idea to consider is a $1000 bill for a grand.

Good Luck

Yep, I thought of the $1,000.

Here's what I have so far. I would appreciate any suggestions.

For "Grandma'll let me do it":

grand (piano or 1000 or $1000 or $1K) + mallet + (cut of) meat + (two people singing a)
duet

For "Henry loves grandma":

hen + reel + heart + (image of a) mother

For "Grandma rocks":

grand (piano or 1000) + (image of a) mother + rocking chair or two
diamonds

I'm not thrilled with these, but they are a start.

Is a rebus the one you catch when you miss the first one?
