HELP connecting to mysql . developing in asp .??

I am developing a web application using dreamweaver mx in ASP. and now want to connect to a mysql database... can this be done????
I've been told that i have to convert my application to PHP....

I know this was a long time ago but did you try creating an ODBC connection. The odbc instalable file is on the mysql.com site.
