Help Connecting to HTTPS

I have a Win2K Box and have installed a SSL certificate. When I try to access it like

https://www.thedoamin.com

it gives a page not found error. If I add the port number like:

https://www.thedomain.com:442/

iw works.

Worked this out. Apparently I was using a non standard port. WHen I set up 443, it did not require the designation in the URL
