Ok, Here's my problem, I have 3 total computers A,B,C. A is the host (connected to the internet) and is sharing internet connectin with B and C. B and C are slaves on the network and they are going ok. Here's the problem:

computers A, B, C can access the internet fine.
Computer B and C can view the files on each other (shared)
Computer A can see whats on B and C but B anc C cannot see whats on A.

I have all the root drives shared on all computers. B and C just can't see whats on the host drives. Nor can they use the host computer's (A) resources.

I desperately need to get this up. Originally, it was one of the CAT 5 cables gone bad and I replaced it but now I can't see whats on the host computer.

Thanks
Chris

Oh, the error message I get is that I do not have access to that drive. Please help,

Thanks
Chris

Are these all XP machines? Is there a firewall on the network connection on computer A? Is simple file sharing enabled on all 3?

All of these are XP machines, All have sinple file sharing enabled (the little hand under the drives). Not sure about the firewall for the local are network on the host (A).

Thanks for the fast reply
Chris

As Wolluf suggested, the network adapter connected to your modem can and should have the native ICF firewall enabled, but the second adapter for the local area network should not.

Use Device Manager, Network Adapters, and look at the Advanced Tab under both adapters. For the adapter connected to the internet modem disable ICF, and under TCP/IP properties, Advanced, DNS, uncheck "Enable Netbios over TCP/IP" if it is enabled. For the adapter that is used for local area connection, the settings are the exact opposite: no ICF firewall, and under DNS you must "Enable Netbios over TCP/IP"
