Help clarifying what & where the main module is in Excel 2007

As to this FAQ post "faq707-1572" I came by way of searching for the same information as to hiding Excel worksheet when my userform displays, etc. My question here is the person stated that the code which was given to do what was wanted this code had to be pasted into the "MAIN MODULE". I'm trying to understand what and where the main module is or is this person referring to the "Personal.xlsm. An y help explaining would greatly be appreciated.

How do you display your userform ... i.e. what code performs the Show of it? Where is that code stored?

Thanks for responding GlennUK. I attached a copy of my code. The answer to your question is that I created a userform in the woorkbook and wrote the code in the userform for what I wanted to do which was to populate information into 4 ComboBoxes and for the 2 Textboxes the user is to inter numbers in these and then from that information the code would execute. I appreciate any help that you can give to me with my previous question.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't make assumptions. I should have made it clear that when my workbook is opened only a blank worksheet appears. The code is in the Excel VBA. Click on the Developer Tab to get to it.

I just wanted to find out whether you had inserted a Module into your workbook. That's the kind of object the referenced post talks about. Maybe someone else on here can see your code and help out ( I can't see it due the firewall here at work ).

The code was already posted here at tek-tips. That's where I got it from. If you click on my first post, you will see the code. And no I didn't insert a module. When I did and then inserted the code in question, I received and error message at the first line of that code "CLEARALL". I thought that it was because my userform1 code was set at private so I changed that in the module to private and that didn't resolve the problem. I thought to change the userform code to public, but didn't. I next placed the code in question in the top of the userform code and then step through the code to see what it was supposed to do, but it skipped the code completely and went right into my userform code. I'm baffled but not quitting. I know that there's a solution I'm not seeing. Just in case I attached my complete file (code).
