Hi, I know I must be doing something stupid. I am using 8.5 and am trying to use a pie chart to chart running total values. I display the running total values and then chart them. The values are ever so slightly off. For example:

runtotvalues %(i figured) This val the pie chart shows
RunTot1 - 22 21.78 Pie chart val for RunTot1 - 19.0
RunTot2 - 59 58.42 Pie chart val for RunTot2 - 62.0
RunTot3 - 3 2.97 Pie chart val for RunTot3 - 2.5
RunTot4 - 2 1.98 Pie chart val for RunTot4 - 2.5
RunTot5 - 3 2.97 Pie chart val for RunTot5 - 3.8
RunTot6 - 11 10.89 Pie chart val for RunTot6 - 8.9
RunTot7 - 0 0.0 Pie chart val for RunTot7 - 0.0
RunTot8 - 1 .99 Pie chart val for RunTot8 - 1.3
RunTot9 - 0 0.0 Pie chart val for RunTot9 - 0.0
____ _____ _____
total ct 101 100% 100%

runtotvalues - the running total value shown in report footer
% i figured - I figured these values ex: 2200/101
This val the pie chart shows - For the pie chart I chose all of the above runtot fields and these are the % the chart shows.

Thanks for any help.

I assume you are using formulas to calculate percentages.
If so -- and I may be off base -- I wonder if the formula is using integer variables to calculate, thus causing cumulative rounding errors.
