IS-IT--Management
we just recently change ISPs. I have a cisco pix 520. 6.2v.
cant get on the internet no more if i connect my LAN after the firewall.
here is my configuration plan:
1. PIX FIREWALL = 192.168.1.1 = x.x.141.110
2. Domain controller/file_server = 192.168.1.2 = x.x.141.106
3. webserver = 192.168.1.4 = x.x.141.108
4. mail server = 192.168.1.5 = x.x.141.109
5. Phone system = 192.168.1.7
6. ISP T1 Router = x.x.141.105 = does it need an internal ip?
subnet of ISP 255.255.255.248
notes: PIX FIREWALL WILL HOST DCHP and DNS.
DHCP scope = 192.168.1.20 - 192.168.1.80. dont use RAS or telnet.
i tried everything i can. I reset the pix to default, ran through wizards. still cant get it up. can anyone run a step by step process on how to use the PDM or the console command line? (i know how to get into the console and configure terminal already)
i also tried changing the old ISP WAN IPs to the new ISP WANs IPs. that didnt work also.
thanks,
ky
