help box

I want to be able to display a help box when someone has there mouse over and input field or text box to give them little more info about what info is needed. I also need it to disappear after the mouse moves away. I know I probably need the mouseout & mouseover commands but that is a far as I got. I am very very new to Javascript. Any help would be great.
