I'm trying to build a basic logon script for Server 2003. I know how to do the old netlogon NT 4 .bats, but want to do the very basic .vbs just to give users access to shares. I've tried a logon.bat, put it in the right place, but it does not work properly... any help is appreciated.

Have you tried applying the bat file via a group policy. I run all my logon scripts this way including drive mappings and all perform nicely
