We are trying do deliver (after it has been wished by our customer) a group hunt system on fix remote (to analogue phones). However, during testing a problem occured. When the group hunt function extends to an available group member, it just continues to ring, and ring, and ring. The function never tries onother availble member. Does anyone know, by any chance, how to make the function to swap to onother member?

More info can be provided if needed.

you can't do this with Group hunt, it works only with busy members not with no anwser.

make virtual number (GEDII) instead of the GH and put a profile on it (PELPI). this will work.

But, will this really work!? I thought that PELPI only could master the busy choice, and potentially the CUST could master if no answer?

PELPI diverts to the next programmed BSYCHO in the LIST according to TIME setting

Ok. Thanks for that. I just tried it and it works perfektely. However the distribution on incoming calls could be more democratic, but the idea works anyway.

Can you have more than 10 positions in the PELPI?

no 10 is the max, and remember that for the PELPI to work you must 'dial' the number the PELPI is set on (you cannot put a PELPI on A with CHO=1 as point B which has PELPI and expect to then follow PELPI B, it will only try point B and ignore the PELPI on B.

I dunno if it's applicable to fixed remote extensions - I guess it depends on whether the MD retains call control when a the remote extension is called - but I used to give hunt group members an individual diversion point (usually the hunt group pilot) w/divert on no answer active so an unanswered call would have someplace to go.

Things get a little funky when you have call diversion and personal number mixed together - you may have to play around with different call cases to see what works and what doesn't.

Good luck,
