Hello PBX gurus,
I have a KX-TES824 at hand brought by a fellow tech.Some ports have tones others are quiet/dull hiss sound.

Whe i reset the system i get tones on all the original ports than come with the system only when the other expansion cards are removed.When i put them back the problem returns.

I suspect the cards are bad(I mean the additional two expansion cards.Coz when i put them back the problem re-occurs.

Any ideas on a solution?

I would double check that the expansion cards are sitting properly on the motherboard - carefully line up the location lugs and push the boards home carefully but firmly. Try 1 card at a time.

I already did that,one card at a time and got no change.

Next step would be substitution to prove - unfortunately means you need to source replacement boards to prove. Think you already knew this though.
