hello!

I was wondering if anyone could suggest where I could start. I am trying to learn graphics for C#. I am trying to create a picture that depending on what radio button and check box is selected - you get a different picture in a picture box. I want to be able to make the graphics in my code.. not have a different pre-made bitmap being displayed.

I hope this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated!

Check out chapter 11 in Petzold's "Programming MS Windows wiht C#".

Petzold is good - his earlier edition taught me Windows 3.1 programming.

Thanks people!!

But I was wondering whether there was a web site or something I could reference today... to buy the book, I need to get it authorised etc..

There are times you need to just do it. You could have the book in the time it takes you to drive to your nearest Borders or Barnes & Nobles.

If you don't have Petzold's book, just go buy it. It is an invaluable guide that walks you through everything that you are looking for. The code for the C# book is on a CD that comes with the book.

Surely you can go out and spend ($40 new $30 used) and expense it. Just do it!

I am not aware of anything online (ie. free) that comes close to this.
