Hello I need help on this

Every time I hit for the task manager the TASKMANAGER pops on and after a couple of seconds it turns off by itself the same happened wit REGEDIT and with MSCONFIG would some one tell me what is wrong or if I have a virus or what I have scanned my computer with Norton Antivirus 2003 with the up to date dat files and nothing has come up

Just a shot in the dark but are you logged on as an administrative user. If not then it could be that you haven't got the necessary permissions to run the apps you are having trouble with.

Hi There
Next time you open it have task manager open and see what chews up the mem. Have a look if you CPU or mem usage rises.
