Hello everyone,
I have been a member here for awhile and decided to finally post something. I have gained some valuable information here that has proven very helpful. Thank you all for the input of knowledge some of you offer. I have come across some good solutions on a few things through the time I have been here, the search function works great here.
Of course I have a problem that needs some attention.
Mitel 3300 version 12.0.2.23.
Request was for "boss" to have all external calls (DID's) go to "admin". Internal calls in our network from all locations that have extension numbers dial direct to "boss".
I set the DID's and CO accordingly and put them into the call alternatives (Always and First along with Day 1 and 2 and Night 1 and 2.) After that was set everything worked and everyone was happy....until...
Admin cannot transfer those external calls to the "boss" because of course, external calls are ALWAYS directed to her extension.
I have been going through various settings and cannot get this particular scheme working to where the admin can transfer the call. I have not seen anything like "call forward external". I am about ready to give the "boss" a new extension and forward all calls to the "admin" and let her sort it out...like they did not so long ago.
