Hello All,

a few weeks back I let Outlook 2000 archive my folders and now I'm having trouble getting to them. If I go through the import/export wizard they don't import back into the original folders. I get an Import Summary box that says "0 of 20 messages imported". When I go to the file and try to open it I get this, "You are attempting to open a file of type 'Office Data File' (.pst). These files are used by the operating system and by various programs. Editing or modifying them could damage your system. If you still want to open the file, click Open With, otherwise, click Cancel". What does this mean, if I click Open With I get numerous program options to open with. Can anyone out there direct me in the right direction here. TIA. Cheers all.

P.S. If I'd known then what kind of difficulties archiving would present, wouldn't had done so. ,,<grin>..

Your .pst file is your "personal folder" file and may be "out of whack".

ScanPST.exe is a good tool to fix any errors encountered on your personal folder.

If you need assistance please reply.
