Customer is using a mcis using 7316e phones. They have 12 lines that appear and ring at all stations and they are constantly in use. There can be several different calls on hold at the same time. The problem is it very difficult to determine the line that was placed on hold from your station. The book says the line you placed on hold will blink faster but with several lines on hold it is very difficult to tell the difference, is there a way to change this?

No
Since you have several people answering they should try SWCA keys or Park or even go full Auto Attendant if they cant handle the volume of calls.

the problem is not that they can not handle the volume of calls it's that they 16 people answering calls and using the lines. so when multiple users have placed their call on hold it is difficult to see from the blinking symbol which line is the line you placed on hold to retrive the call.

Have them use Exclusive Hold F-HOLD. Line will stay lit solid on phones except the that put it on hold.

I would change to park and get ride of the line appearance. Think of all the features they could program on those 11 extra keys.
