Heat Maps in Excel

Create them manually?
Using conditional formatting?
Using VBA to assign colours?

Give us a clue. Say exactly what data you have and how you want to display it and somebody might be able to help.

By the way, not everybody can follow the link you included because the usage rules at work prohibit it. So please be explicit - do not just refer to the link.

Apologies for lack of detail.

I've subsequently found out that I was actually after something called TreeMaps not heat maps. These are available as an addin into Excel and do exactly what I wanted.

I will certainly take on board your advice next time I ask for assistance. Cheers.
