Hello

Just wondering if I could get a little input..
I am looking for suggestions for when the hearing impaired community are calling our call center.
Also we have a 61C if that helps..

Thanks
Debbie

Thank You AceWarlock

They do have there own devices (tty), but we want to directly communicate with them, so I thought we could just purchase at TTY and type messages back and forth. But my company is asking is there something that would hook to the 61C.

Thanks
Debbie

You could use the same devices that they use, they would hookup to an analog port. I think they are made by Uniphone Model 1140.

Install a TDD/TTY device on an analog port from your option 61C. Make it a DID then publish that number. There is also a service that LEC's offer that your cust. who has a TTY device calls into and the LEC translates between the caller and you.
