Yesterday I swapped out a bunch of M7310 sets for T7316e sets. One of them had a little amplifier (Walker) like you would see on a headset. I plugged it into the handset port on the set like the old one and it sounded ok to me but the user called today saying the volume was too low even when cranked up to max volume. I had him move the plug from the handset port to headset port but he said it made no difference. Has anyone heard of issues with T series sets and handset amplifiers?

no but there are volume control handsets for T and M series handsets

telephone Tim

i have had this before
the old set may have had the set volume turned way up
(system volume is on by set not system)
have him pick up the handset ,turn down the volume on the amplifier, then turn up the volume of the set , then up the volume on the amplifier,

if the volume is low on the set then the amplifier is trying to boost a low signal, like trying to yell at a whisper

HALLOWED ARE THE ORI

I've sold a few (I think they are called) Noise cancellation T Series Black Hand Set, they come very loud and can be adjusted with the bar
