MICS 7.1
T7316E "Nortel Branded" phones
Plantronics H141 headset with the A10 QD cords

Tried installing these headsets at customer site to find the far end could hardly hear the user on the headset. So naturally I changed headsets..Same problem. Went ahead and tried both headsets on a different T7316E and a T7208 phone on the same MICS...same issue. I also tried the phones on the core and on the station module....no change.

I bring the headsets back to the office and try them on the same exact phone from customer site on an older BCM200 we have running and the headsets work fine.

We have other customers using headsets but they still have the old M series phones so I figured it might be a T series flaw until I found it worked on out BCM. SO I am stuck here at a loss. Any help appreciated.

Yea I already found that out. Thats why I installed the Nortel T series phones. The mic works its just really really low.

Try a GN 2020 with GN1200 q cord.
Works even with Avaya branded T sets.

I heard lasted q cord for Plantronics was A10-16 but not sure if works.....I dont really sell Plantronics.

Thanks for the replies. I still find it odd that the A10 cord works on a bcm200 but not a MICS and plantronics only distinguishes their compatibility by phone models and not phone systems so in reality the A10 cable should work fine on any system that supports T7316E phones.
