I am installing a Plantronics headset and I need to enable the headset hookswitch. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your help

plug the headset into the headset port on the back of the phone.
Turn on headset button on phone.
The rest will need to be adjusted on the headset itself. There should be dip switches, dials etc. Play with them until you get dialtone and are able to talk through it.

I think the OP may have been inquiring about the Electronic Hookswitch feature, which is usually off by default and must be enabled in the Phone Configuration screen by the CUCM Administrator.

This feature also requires a special EHS adaptor cable from the headset manufacturer, Plantronics p/n 38350-01 for the Plantronics Savi series headsets. There is a different cable required for the CS55 series headsets.

I got it working through the CUCM Administrator configuration but I need to know how to enable the Headset Hookswitch Control on a Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express?

Thanks much for your help
