Headset and Handset can be use at the same time on IP Phone

Hi Guys,

Do any way knows the way we can use Headset and Handset at the same time on 46xx IP phones. This work fine on the digital phones we have, but we need to switch it between headset and handset on the IP phones. I there any way we can keep both active at the same time.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Not a solid solution but here is an idea for ya: I use both headset and handset on 46xx phones but not exactly at the same time but users can swtich at will. I'm connecting with Plantronics CS55 Wireless headset and the handset plugs into the base of the headset with a handset lifter attached to the phone. Users can click the handset lifter up for headset or pickup the receiver for handset. You should call Plantronics I'm sure they have an even better solution than that, their salespeople should know which ones work with the Avaya 46xx series.
