I booted up my Windows 2000 Pro computer today to get some files off a certain HD. The HD doesnt show up in My Computer or anything. I tried moving the HD to another computer and still no luck. Its set as a slave and its a Western Digital 150Gig. It sounds like its running fine, sounds healthy and all. Any idea? Thanks for the help!

Are the primary disks set as master?

Does your BIOS recognize the new drive on boot up? You may have to go into the system BIOS and force a discovery the first time.

No its not a new HD, its a HD that has been on that computer for a while now and has worked fine.

Does your BIOS recognize the drive still?

That'll help to pick where to start focusing our first efforts on.
