We are running Arcserver 6.61 on Windows NT Server 4.0 SP5. We run incremental backups every night and after backing up a system, Arcserve does not reset the file modification settings to the original settings. So all of the files that are backed up have a modification date of the night before. How can I set Arcserve up so that it does reset the modify date to the original date before the backup?
Thanks.

Actually this is my question. I just remembered my login and password. Any help would be definately appreciated.

Hi,
Incremental backup will backup the files whose archive bit is ON and will reset it once the job is done.
Thanks

The problem isn't the archive bit, the problem is it won't change the modify date back to it's original date before the backup. So all the files backed up have a date of last night. There must be a way to fix this. Thanks for the feedback though.
