having problem with getting links to come up....they are blank

i am running windows xp, ever since the hoax with the teddy bear, i did delete it before knowing it was a hoax. I am unable to click on any links as in (http, or play any games as in pool.) Please help me if you have any sugestions. thank you
 
I did all those. I also did the system restore and it dont work. I will retry that...Thank you very much...I can not get into that link you gave to me...Thank you again.

If you deleted this file by following the e-mail message instructions, complete the appropriate steps to recover it.

ty, i restored my pc to way before now. but, now it is saying that it can not locate the file java/object/lang. Do you have any idea what that is?
 
There are about 6 or 7 zip files in the java folder in windows under the packages folder. one of them should have the folder and files it is looking for.

I think your Java setup is stuffed and needs reloading. If you can't get to any sites because of your link problem, see if you can get a friend to download it for you and save it to disk.

Don't forget to "undo" the system restore you just did to bring your machine back to the present.
