Have Pub 2000 and received a Pub 2002 document - any way to open it

Is there any way to open a Pub 2002 with Pub 2000? Is there a converted application out there anywhere?

I have asked that my client save the files as Pub 2000 and resend them to me (on CD as the files are huge) but that will take a few weeks. A conversion utility would be most helpful.

I am having this same issue. Publisher 2002 is backward compatible with Pub 2000 but not the other way around. Even if you save the file as a Pub.2000 file the file size increases a lot. There has to be another file format to save it to that is compatible ?????????

I ended up purchasing 2002 - I just didn't find a solution inthe time frame that I needed it.

Can a computer with Windows XP and Office XP run Publisher 200o on it? It is compatible with Office XP?
