My score:

78% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!

My score: 57% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

Damn ya'll, I'm embarrassed. I only scored a 62%(Dixie)

45% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

But I think there is a problem in the analysis:

Eleven of the answers indicated common everywhere
Eight of the answers indicated "Great Lakes"
One answer indicated PA to OH to Indiana.

That seems to me to be 95% - 100% Yankee, y'all.

Wouldn't expect anything less from our 'Cajun' friend.

[thumbsup2] Wow, I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.
I think I've forgotten this before.

52% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

... and I'm Canadian!

I tried a couple of times because I had multiple answers for some of the questions.

1st try: 84% dixie
2nd try: 94% dixie

Dang, I coulda swunied I wud'n that southern. Seriously, between all of the northern transplants around the Triangle and the fact that said yankees constantly tell me, "but you don't sound like a native", these results surprise me.

Especially surprising is that I've seen this test before and I seem to remember having scored slightly yankee.

36% (Yankee). A definitive Yankee.

What? Nearly all my answers were 'Great Lakes'? Isn't that Yankee? Or do you gotta be a snobby New Englander to be considered a Yankee? There's a spot, not far from where I grew up where you can SEE Canada.

And the answers to 19 lacked the correct answer, HEAVEN

that which may not need to be done tomorrow [ponder] --me

I got 60% (barely dixie), although I'm from the Uk ;)

One thing did make me laugh though:

"17. What's it called when you throw toilet paper over a house?"

Is this some sort of American tradition? Seems like an odd thing to do!

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

Oh, you poor limey! You've never rolled a house?!? This was a popular prank in high school. Sneak into a friend's parent's house in the dead of night and then throw toilet paper up into the branches of trees. The weight of the roll brings it back down so you can repeat.

Advanced practitioners might use a broom handle to really fling the TP to the highest branches.

Other things to do with the TP include wrapping tree trunks and cars, completely 'fencing in' the front porch, and, of course, throwing it back and forth over the house.

It's really quite a lovely sight when you're done. But man, what a pain to clean up!

Ah I see, I think I might have seen that in a film at some point, but it's never done over here. We're roit proper! I think the closest thing we've done to that is wrap someone's car in about 3 rolls of cling-film.

Took him a while to get back inside ;)

Grenage, if you add a 5-gallon jug of shortening to the mix, it makes for a jolly-good time.

63% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!

However, I'm not sure how accurate this may be as I am form the UK.

OK, I got a 52% Dixie in that test. Unsure of how much I wanted to rely on that since I have only ever lived in PA and NJ, I found one called:

The Advanced Rebel-Yankee Test!

My new score?
20% Dixie. Wow! You are a Duke of Yankeedom!

Wouldn't it make more sense to combine these into one comprehensive quiz?

6% Dixie. You are as dandy a Yankee as they get!!

I'm a Yankee doodle dandy! Wait...I am?
