Have all .dbx how to use ? 1

I recently backed up all .dbx outlook 5 files,(what does that stand for by the way ?) and now wish that they would work on my new machine.. I tried copying them into my windows/appdata/../outlook folder and when I start the program just regular old virgin outlook.. I want my oldlady back ! all saved addreses,contacts,mail.. no show

a quick way of doing it is to do a search for all .dbx files on your PC, you will find 2x Inbox, 2x Outbox etc etc. One of each will be quite larger then the other, all you have to do is move (safer then deleting them) the smaller ones, eg, one of the inbox.dbx and outbox.dbx to a different folder, and then put the larger ones into their place.
