I know this is off-topic, but I'd just like to wish all the regulars here a happy holiday season and a great new year, whatever you're up to. I look forward to "tipping" with you all into 2004 ;o)

And many, many thanks for voting me "TipMaster of the Week" after only 2 weeks as a member.

I just discovered this web site and wish all of you a grat Christmas as well, what a great resource!

Yay! Merry Christmas everyone :p

Great to see so much enthusiasm in one place, looking forward to another year of it. This is definately the no.1 site for Javascript :)

What a good idea for a thread. :)

I dunno about the rest of you guys but I'm (almost) convinced that the best way to learn a language is to join a forum and try to answer the questions that come up. If we just waited until we hit a problem ourselves, we wouldn't know half the stuff we do now.

I've been on other JS lists like WDF-DOM, and although the questions are more difficult (of higher quality, if you like) the volume is disappointing. This place is like a constant refresher course!

Happy Xmas to the newbies. :)

Tek-Tips is the best forum ever man.. *sob* I love you guys!

Merry Christmas all!

theboyhope,

I couldn't agree more. I hadn't touched javascript or html until 4 months ago, but after asking a ton of questions at first, and reading every daily thread posted I've done nothing but answer questions for the last 2 months.
