Have a different phone ring after hours, NS700

I've got three staff phones ringing together during the school day currently on our NS700, but the principal of that school wants her phone to ring instead of the other three for a few hours after school. I thought this was set up through the Week Calendar, but it's apparently not working. What else do I have to do? Thanks.

It's quite weird, but the "Breaks" times must be during the days or nights, so you have to make a shift of one minute for example.

Hi, I set daytime from 7 to 2:30 and then night time to start after that. What would I need to set up a break time for? And also, where do I assign who gets the calls at night time? Thanks.

I didn't understand, it's because you missed your night route. Check everything carefully.

Thank you. Where do I set who's phone I want to have ring at night? Under extensions > wired extensions > extension settings > Intercept Destination?

Uh oh. Please forgive my ignorance, but is a DDI the full phone number? In this case, the main number for the school? Once I set that, do I then just set the principal's DDI as the night destination? Thanks for your help.

Hi Guys,
I currently have three staff phones ringing together during the school day on our NS700, but the principal wants her phone to ring instead of the others for a few hours after school. I thought this was configured through the Week Calendar, but it’s not working. What else do I need to set up? Thanks.

It is about as clear as mud in the documentation and it did take me a bit to figure it out. The last time I dealt with this was about two years ago, so I maybe forgetting something. Yes, you do have to configure the calendar. You'll also need to create incoming call groups: PBX Configuration\Incoming Call Distribution Group for day/night/special/holiday ring and assign extension members. Assuming you just have common incoming trunks, you'll assign the Incoming Call Distribution Groups to each within: PBX Configuration\CO & Incoming Call\DIL Table & Port Settings

Thank you! Do I need to change the UM group in DIL table & port settings as shown?

I didn't on mine, but I have a bit of a different method that we handle after hours calls. As I mentioned in my previous post, its been a couple of years since I last dealt with this. I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time to research the documentation and then apply your scenario to arrive at specific programming recommendations.

No problem, just curious.
