Hi there.

If you are talking about a "clearing out" of any information in the phone, do the following:

Reboot the phone (remove the power whether it is by disconnecting the phone from the switch via the RJ-45 or by disconnecting the power injector)
When the phone gets to the point where it says "* to program", press the "*"... then enter the password "CRAFT" (27238) and octothorpe (#).
If at this point you get "restarting" you can press # and see what happens.
If the phone boots up, and you get an extension number, press MUTE + CRAFTRESET+# (MUTE+2723873738+#), and you should be able to make changes.

If you are running an older version of the phone / IP Office, the password might be CLEAR (25327)

Hope this helps.

Regards

Why did you change the eprom?
Do you have phone with the same mac address?
IF the answer is yes then you need to send them to Avaya to repair.
There is a bug in the software release 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 when you downgrade them to 1.3.2

Code:
Name of problem
Downgrade of 16xx H.323 phones to firmware 1.3.2 from 1.3.3 or 1.3.4 results in duplicate/default MAC and Serial Number

Here is the doc:
