Hi,

Need to upgrade to the latest aloha, what is the hardware requirement (for server), Can I install it on VM?

thanks,

I have heard of people getting it running on VMware. I am relatively certain Radiant is going to recommend that as a configuration because of the added complexities. By that I mean for the end user....

not going to recommend that...." missed a word in there.....

I know of someone who got it running on VMware so they could run it on Apple machines. It is something for the technically savy only.

I have several versions of Aloha running on VMWARE. It works well and have not had any problems with the HASP Key, receipt/kitchen printers, etc.....but I use it inhouse for testing purposes only.

Thanks Guys,

Bigblok403: do you test credit card (with modem)too?

Yes, highspeed and dialup modem. Usually test outside of VMware because it's faster, but have also done it within the virtual machines with no problem.
