I have never had this happen before, but my hard drive is nearly full, yet when all the files on the drive(yes, hidden too) are added up it totals 63.3 GB.
I have a 150GB HD with only 6 gigs remaining. Thats alot of space unaccounted for that I need. I ran CHKDSK and it fails to complete Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue a couple of months ago. I had total of 500 gig of hard drive space and was only using about 35 gigs at the time but it was showing that it was full. The problem I had was some type of virus. I tried to use several different scanners to remove the virus but had no luck. I tried to delete it from normal and safe mode and still had no luck. So I just formatted the whole thing and started over. Haven't had any other problems since.

Thank you wahnula, that program helped me solve the problem.

Cool program too.
