Hard Drive issue

I just got a new mother board nforce 2 and i took out my old one and put my new one in! and all of my original pci junk back in and vid card! But now when i boot up nothing happens except the tower turns on but no screen! Do i have to reinstall everything and fdisk that harddrive?

Well n/m now that i think it wouldnt be the hard drive b/c it has to go to system bios and solutions to why my monitor wont show a anything when i boot

but still wont boot and i have checked connections and reset the cmos! any other suggestions

Take the new mobo out and set it on the box it came in. Hook up power, keyboard, mouse, mem (one stick), and vid card. If this posts OK, plug in the hard drive. If it boots, look for mounting post(s) in wrong place.

I tried that micker and still no luck I bought the mobo used off of ebay, could the agp slot be bad?

Can you try a PCI video card to test?

I dont have a pci card so im just going to try send back the mobo! My bro bought it for my b-day and when i read the auction it said this: ECS N2U400-A nForce2 ULTRA 400 SOCKET A MOTHERBOARD
This is fishy!!!!!(I got this motherboard a couple weeks ago brand new. It was used for a few hours and then I decided to sell it, not because it doesn't work though, its in great condition, I just decided not to have a new motherboard. Will come to you in a static free bag with the software and the screws.)

This board comes with a 4-pin ATX 12V Power Supply connector. Did you hook this up?

One must assume you transfered your CPU from the old board to the new. Perhaps you may want to remove it, inspect it for bent pins, and reseat it.
