Hello all,

CR XI, Oracle backend.

I am pulling a very simple query out of an oracle database to show time V production numbers. I am creating a simple line chart out of the data.

I would like to show our "planned" numbers Vs our actuals. The problem is the Planned is not contained in a database currently... it is contained in an excel spreadsheet.

I am wondering if its possible to hard code in our monthly performance goals to show up as a seperate line in the charts im creating.

Any ideas? Does this make sense?

Thanks in adavance!

You should be able to link an Excel spreadsheet as a table in the Crystal. Use SEARCH to get details.

Try clicking on one of the Y-Axis labels and then bring up the grid/scales dialog. The right-most tab on the top should bring you to a place where you can create a static "user defined line". Type in the value you want.

If you need more complex control (multiple user lines, dynamic user lines, user lines with labeling/values) then you can also evaluate our CRChart add-in for Crystal Reports, which has tons of this kind of functionality.
