Hang on "Starting Kernel" while installing Virtual IO Server

Virtual IO Server: 1.4
HMC Version: 6.1.3

Insert the DVD,
boot from DVD by using HMC,
Than hand here:


and the Panel Value on HMC "Starting Kernel".

PS:I have updated the Licensed Internel Code to 324..

Who can help me? I feel upset....

Did you perhaps configure a vscsi (client) adapter on the VIO partition? If so, it is probably waiting for a remote vhost (server) adapter to appear on another LPAR...

IMHO VIO servers should only have vhost adapters.

Also 512MB seems a bit low (but should be doable).

not config vscsi (client) but vscsi (host).

and 512MB just for test...
in fact, I setup the VIO 7G mem, and 3 CPU.
