Hi Jim,

Didn't even realize this forum was available. Did you buy a Handspring? By a strange series of events, I now have three blue Deluxe versions. I love them (and the price), though I would love even more to have a color screen. I also purchased an eyemodule for it that I'm very excited about but can you believe the cradle stopped working the very day the module showed up, so I have no way of loading the camera's softwear until my new cradle shows up!

New cradle arrived Friday, loaded eyemodule software. It is amazing! Only $150 for a digital camera! Very easy to use, the only problem is it seems to eat up the battery very quickly, and you have to remove the module from the slot when finished using, there is no "off" button, not very convenient. There was a small problem installing some included 3rd-party software called MediaCenter from PictureWorks, it refused to let me install it anywhere but the default directory, where I didn't have enough space. Next, on to the MP3 module! Now if I could just get a cable modem connection on my free Virgin WebPlayer I'd be in gadget heaven.

I've got a Black Deluxe. It's great. I don't know how I lived without it. The great thing is all the software out there for the Palm is compatible with it. They just announced a full color model with rechargable batteries, like the palm. It's about $495. Yeah, I got the announcement about the color model and would love to have one! Now that I have the camera I think it would be great to have a color screen. I sold one of my 3 visors on eBay a couple of weeks ago for $225. It was unused so someone got a good deal as they currently charge $249 for them. I'm thinking of selling a second one so that I can buy the color version, but I don't know if it's worth the difference. Does anyone find the color screen on a handheld makes a difference in the common apps like date book and address book? [sig][/sig]

I haven't tried any with color. But I've heard others say tere is a remarkable difference. [sig]
Domenick Pellegrini
dpellegrini@yahoo.com

[/sig]

Just bought visor prism (color) a month ago. Looks great, works great.
With additional software, can now send and receive e-mails through IRcomm of my motorola mobile phone.
1. e-mail : looking for the right softwares : tried multimail+, and right now eudora mail and wap. so far, not very handy when traveling : quite complicated to change the ISP setup and phone number. Also thried the Thinair, but not very convincing.
Little Europe is so divers that every now and then you either have to dial international to connect, or you have to know the access number of an affiliated isp.

2. attachments : any idea to be able to read the e-mail attachments ? I understand "document-to-go" has a "attachment-to-go" device, but couldn't find a free trial download. descritpion doesn't show clearly if you use it only with attachments synchronized from your desktop, or if it works also with direct download

3. spreadsheet : looking for something as well. tried Tiny Sheet, but apparently no help available so cannot figure out how to introduce even basic formulas (add, substract, multiply, divide)

thanks to all for help
