Hi

We currently have 4621's and are looking to replace them.

Any one got a recommendation that is as user friendly as a 4621

Running CM5.2, ftp and http servers

Cheers

I think the lack of anyone posting pretty much answers the question. The 4621 that has the backlit LCD screen and the softkeys on the left and right of the screen aren't really matched by any of their current products; 1600 & 9600 IP Phones. Don't get me wrong, the top of the line 9600 set is really pretty sitting on every desk in Mahogany Row. (They won't say it, but Senior Management really likes the 'desk bling'.) But for the revenue generators that actually use the phone, the 4621 is about the best phone from Avaya. A close second would be the 2420 digital set. The third would be a tie between the 6424 digital set & 9508 digital set.

PBXTech- Well said! I continue to purchase 4621s for the common user. I will say that the 9650 comes in at a close second to the 4621 (and I am currently using a 9650), but I still prefer the 4621.

Cheers

You both confirmed my thoughts after testing a few and coming to the same conlusion. Nice bling but not user friemdly.

We get enough user eroor phone issues as it is with 4621's....The replacements will what decided sound like we will be kept busyy :)

The 9608 has the same button set up as the 2420 and except for number of buttons on the side of the screen its the same as the 4621. It is a dog in some other way?
