I've been working with a Nortel Norstar system for a little bit here, and have most of the basics down, but we had a power outage and a few features that i didn't setup were lost. Not sure how to address this either, After calling around no one can seem to help.
We have a Compact ICS with the 7.0 system, and at some point someone set our system to automatically dial the outside extension (which was set to 801 for some reason?) when any handset was picked up. We also have analog converters for 2 fax lines. Once the power went out, the fax lines no longer function, and the "automatic dial-out" (for lack of the proper term?) feature is no longer functioning. I now have one handset that dials 8100, and another that dials 8000 automatically when you pick up the receiver. all the rest you must select the intercom button to dial out.
I would really like to get this set back up so that no one needs to dial an extension to make outside calls. does anyone have any clues on how to do this?
Thanks
