Hi,

I have very limited knowledge with Nortel and I am stuck in these two issues:

1. I have a PRI connected to another PABX. When they dial my numbers, 23xxx, they give me CLI 11123xxx. Since 11123xxx is not my extension, my system rejects the call. I want to remove this 111 and send the call to my corresponding extension.

2. Right now my DNs are of series 23xxx. When I call my mobile or any other system, CLI comes as 038 23xxx. 038 is my city code. I want my CLI to go like 038 333 23xxx. I think it can be done by HLOC but I have never done this before. Consider me almost blank with ESN, RLI and RLB procedures and please help.

Thanks

Easiest way is to change RDB - IDC YES, DCNO 11 (Any Unused)
Then LD 49 NEW IDC, DCNO 1, Then enter 11123
the system will echo 11123, now enter 23.
This will create a conversion of 11123 numbers to 23 numbers.
Hope this helps.

Couldnt find IDC in there...

Since these are tie lines and it appears you are wanting to 4 digit dial? ? ? You are going to need to setup the switch to network calls. This is very involved as this requires setting up the networking (HLOC, LOC) then building DSC ( Distant Steering Codes) IDC is usually used in DID routes not TIE's. If you look in a regular DID route you will see 2 entries DCNO = Day IDC table NDNO Night IDC Table.

You could call your local vendor, and they can get this done for you in no time at all. You need programming done, that is not for the limited knowledge user.

Need help? Call Me Now!

I want to get it done at my end, so that I can use it in future as well. Please help.

I have created DSCs in past but I just forgot them now. I shall be so thankful if you can brief me a little about implementing ESN and DSCs in that case.

I have set up HLOC in LD15. Its 8118 and I have tested that as well. Each of my call provides me CLI 8118xxxx.

I just want my calls starting from zero to be sent on PRI, along with HLOC. How will ESN help me in it, where I have done it without ESN.

Any suggestion?
