I was just browsing "stuff" and foud out that the movie "Three Days of the Condor" is based on the book "Six days of the Condor".

It seems that it was too long to make a movie spanning six days of action and suspense.

Can you think of any other movies which would benefit from similar treatment?

Lets start with "The Magnificent Three-and-a-Half" or possibly "The Slightly Soiled Six"

>A Quarter of a Sixpence

or the alternative title: Half a Thruppence

And yet, no one has mentioned:

2.5 is alive!

And hey, it still rhymes.

Ah, probably because:

a) the proper variant would be: Number 2.5 is alive
b) it's a quote, not a film title ...

:)

Nummer 5 lebt" was the german movie title of "Short Circuit", though.

Bye, Olaf.

One more: Avatar.

You simply just watch half the movie. The second half is the awful part of it anyway. If I'd want to watch a war movie with a message, there are many others.

Bye, Olaf.

Isn’t 'Avatar' just the knock-off of 'Dances with Wolves' anyway? Main character goes to war with some people, then becomes one of those people and is at war with whoever sent him there? So is 'Last Samurai', as well.
I think whoever made 'Dances with Wolves' should sue the other two.

Have fun.
