hi all
i want to know what is the correct way of taking
mksysb on nodes of an HACMP cluster?
Whether is necessary to stop HA before taking mksysb?
or it is necessary to take mksysb in running HA conditions?
Also can any body tell me from where i can get the
info about and practical examples of shell scripts for
pre and post event processing in HACMP?
Any Red book or Usefull link?

You do not have to take down HACMP when taking a mksysb, it is not necessary. You can get some good information on customizations in the Red Book: HACMP Enhanced Scalability: User-Defined Events. This book is for HACMP/ES but the differences are minor. Also a good Red book if your just getting into HA is the HACMP Cookbook.
