Hello,

I have AACC6.1 installed on 3 servers with CCMS Campus HA: one is CCMS active, second is CCMS standby and CCMA.

When I'm browsing through High Availability window I have the following message: "HA enabled. Please note that the network must be configured to support HA environment". I looked into documentation and I find, regarding the network configuration for HA, this:

"Network requirements:
In a Campus High Availability environment the standby and active servers are in the same location, typically they are both on the same network subnet (LAN). In a campus environment the active and standby server have different static IP addresses, but share a common virtual Managed IP address.
You can use managed IP addresses for campus redundancy. With a managed
IP address, both the active and standby servers have the same IP address, thus other applications that require calls to the IP address or server name (such as Contact Center Manager Administration needs the Contact Center Manager Server name), no requirements are required to reconfigure the contact center system.
Campus High Availability supports LAN environments where the round trip delay is less than 80ms, with less than 0.5% packet loss."

I configured the Managed CLAN IP address and name, both servers are connected in the same switch, shadowing is enable: "Standby mode Server is actively shadowing data", the switchover check box is enable on both servers with 5 seconds and if I stop the TFE or ASM service from CCMS Active the system will not switch to the CCMS Standby server.

So how can I test the automatic switchover between the CCMS active and standby?

Regards,

Mihai

Hi,
any other values set?
Restart limit - number of attempts to restart

Procedure job aid
This section provides an example of the service monitor configuration in the High
Availability Utility.
When the CCMS OAM service has stopped 3 times for longer than 60 seconds in a
period of 12 hours, initiate an automatic switchover. This requirement is achieved by
setting the OAM service configuration values to the following settings:
CC CCMS
Service OAM_Service
Monitor Selected
Restart Selected
Start Wait Timer 60 Seconds
Restart Limit 3
Restart Threshold 43200 Seconds (12 hours)

regards :)
