h323 to Alcatel OXE

Im trying to set up an IP (not SIP) trunk to an OmniPCX Enterprise and can ping it however when i make a call i get the following

I have looked up configuring h323 to Avaya CM but it has not helped

Do you have a networking license in the ip500 ?
You need that ipnetworking

Also you need to set up shortcodes for directing to extension
Iproutes do not use the incoming call route

I do have the voice networking and Professional (even though you dont need it after 4.1.

the shortcode to dail is [7]N; dail N out of line group 1
Wouldnt that cover extensions and breakout dialing?


IP route is set up 10.10.100.10(OXE) gateway 10.20.103.1 (VPN router)

Incoming call route all voice from line group 1 to 301

Iptrunks do not use the incoming callroute

Use shortcodes for routing incoming calls

The longest an extension can be is 8 digits

Ill go down everything i could think of.
I have licenses; Voice networking, pro and i have the vcm channels available.

the extension i am using on the IPO is 301 and on the alcatel is 1695, i can see the incoming CID of that as 9077771695

The ip route goes to 10.10.100.10 (alcatel) trough 10.20.103.1(VPN) through LAN1

The IP Line is number 17 and incoming and outgoing group is 1. I have it set to 4 channels for everything. The gateway IP address is 10.10.100.10 using g.729 faststart(both can not be changed due to other users on the Alcatel) and out of band DTMF

I have an ICR so all calls to lin ID 1 go to 301 and a short code so 9077771695 dials 301.

They are not back to back so it may be a VPN issue. I may have to take a nice long drive to set them next to each other later in the week.

I also have the issue escalated with Catalyst and a sales guy is looking for some help from someone he knows at Avaya
